Hollywood's elite came together to celebrate a banner year for cinema, with agencies rolling out the red carpet for their nominated clients in true awards season style.
The real buzz? That mysterious guest requiring secret service protection at San Vicente Bungalows — Hollywood's power players were whispering about who warranted the extra security.
WME's Chateau Marmont nominees toast on March 15, 2026 featured Michael B. Jordan ("Sinners"), Ryan Coogler and Teyana Taylor among guests, while CAA's Living Room fete included Brad Pitt, Steven Spielberg and Paul Thomas Anderson.
When the Oscars roll around, it's not just about the gold statue — it's about who you see in the days leading up to it. This year, Hollywood's power players made sure the pre-parties were as iconic as the ceremony itself.
The awards season machinery kicked into high gear this weekend as Hollywood's power agencies rolled out the red carpet for their pre-Oscars celebrations, with WME and CAA hosting star-studded bashes that drew everyone from Michael B. Jordan to Brad Pitt.
WME kicked things off with an intimate nominees toast in the Chateau Marmont's penthouse, where "Sinners" star Michael B. Jordan mingled alongside director Ryan Coogler and his producer wife Zinzi Coogler. The hallway was lined with nominee portraits by artist Tim Nguyen, setting the stage for what WME co-chairman Richard Weitz called a "rousing speech" in front of heavy-hitting executives including Disney's Dana Walden, Netflix's Bela Bajaria and NBCUniversal's Donna Langley.
The party then migrated downstairs to the garden, where a star-studded crowd mixed that included Tom Holland, Javier Bardem, Chris Rock (fresh from his Netflix special), Seth MacFarlane, Rachel Sennott, Kristen Stewart, Tobey Maguire, Maude Apatow and Barry Keoghan. Olympic ice dancers Evan Bates and Madison Chock even made an appearance in their medals, adding some unexpected athletic star power to the proceedings.
Meanwhile, rival agency CAA held their own pre-Oscars fete on Thursday at the private club Living Room, drawing an equally impressive roster: Brad Pitt, Steven Spielberg, Paul Thomas Anderson and Mick Jagger led the guest list alongside Andy Cohen, Jon Hamm, Gracie Abrams (with dad J.J. Abrams), Sacha Baron Cohen and Anya Taylor-Joy.
But the real Hollywood watering hole remained San Vicente Bungalows, which drew its own constellation of A-listers including Al Pacino, Jerry Bruckheimer, Ridley Scott, Sam Levinson, Jennifer Anniston, Sarah Paulson and Usher throughout the weekend. And while everyone was mingling, one question had the gossip mills working overtime: which mystery guest required a secret service security detail stationed out front?
Teyana Taylor, it should be noted, was the marathon woman of Oscars week — she hit WME's bash straight from a Warner Bros. pre-party, then earlier in the week was spotted at an Oscars dinner at San Vicente's Santa Monica outpost alongside Elle Fanning, Jacob Elordi, Delroy Lindo, Stellan Skarsgård and Benicio del Toro.
