The awards season machinery kicked into high gear this weekend as Hollywood's power agencies rolled out the red carpet for their pre-Oscars celebrations, with WME and CAA hosting star-studded bashes that drew everyone from Michael B. Jordan to Brad Pitt.
WME kicked things off with an intimate nominees toast in the Chateau Marmont's penthouse, where "Sinners" star Michael B. Jordan mingled alongside director Ryan Coogler and his producer wife Zinzi Coogler. The hallway was lined with nominee portraits by artist Tim Nguyen, setting the stage for what WME co-chairman Richard Weitz called a "rousing speech" in front of heavy-hitting executives including Disney's Dana Walden, Netflix's Bela Bajaria and NBCUniversal's Donna Langley.
