The 27-year-old Sniper Gang artist was booked into Broward County custody on Thursday, May 14, facing charges of fleeing law enforcement, a third-degree felony, and resisting or obstructing without violence, a misdemeanor count. The incidents stem from a February 27 traffic stop in Pompano Beach, Florida.
According to an arrest affidavit viewed by NBC6, officers spotted Kodak driving a pink Jeep Grand Cherokee and alleged he was stopped and holding up traffic. The situation escalated when an SUV and minivan pulled up next to the traffic stop β multiple armed men, allegedly Kodak's security detail, hopped out of the vehicles. That's when the "Super Gremlin" rapper got back into his Jeep and drove off, according to deputies.
Here's where it gets spicy: officers noted that Kodak was wearing a San Antonio Spurs jersey during the traffic stop, which matched an outfit he had posted on social media earlier that same day, February 27. The same pink Jeep Cherokee was pulled over again hours later β but this time driven by another individual. When authorities searched the vehicle, they discovered 16 grams of Oxycodone, three grams of cannabis, more than $26,000 in cash, and prized diamond jewelry pieces.

"When they say everyone was armed, that pulled up, that was his security team. So yes, his security team is armed, they are licensed to carry. It is a Second Amendment state," Cohen reportedly told the judge, emphasizing that all firearms were properly permitted.
